2010 Terrapin Big Hoppy Monster Release!

We at J.J. Taylor FL are happy to announce the 2010 Limited Release of Terrapin Big Hoppy Monster.  Terrapin Beer Co. is based in Athens GA.  These dudes in their 8 years of commercial brewing have largely assisted in putting the South Eastern U.S. on the radar for all world-wide devotees of Craft beer!

Big Hoppy Monster is a mammoth Imperial Red Ale that leads with a tantalizing hop aroma but is quickly complemented by an enormous malt backbone & finished with a multitude of hoppy goodness…  packing 72 IBUs and 8.7% abv.  Keep and eye out for Big Hoppy Monster on draft and in 4 pack bottles around Central FL.

It’s the second week of August in muggy Florida, and yes, we are well into releasing our Fall Seasonal Beers!  2010 offers our best lineup of beers that we have ever had access to.  Look for the NEW arrivals into Florida from the brewers at: Breckenridge, Rogue, Sierra Nevada, The Bruery, Southampton, Terrapin & Cigar City Brewery.  Also keep an eye open for Left Hand Oktoberfest out in the marketplace; the 4/6pks are already sold out at J.J. Taylor for the year.   – PROST!

Wednesday evening 5/19 in Sarasota, at SRQ’s most recent of the “beer geek” establishments, meet up with Andy G.; the FL Brewery rep for Southampton Brewery. There will be a beer and cheese paring, while cheese supply lasts, and several VERY uncommon Southampton 750ml beers will be offered in limited sampling. Mr. Beerys owner, Mark T. dove deep into his personal cellar for some rare treats. Also, the first taping of Southampton Keller Pils in FL.
